Sant ji has embraced the "paavan" message of Gurbani, "vich duniya sev kamaeeaai ta dargeh baisun paaeeaai", and has dedicated his life in helping the needy and less fortunate throughout the world. Sant Anoop Singh Ji, Una Sahib Wale, who is filled with generosity, kindness and love is spreading the fragrance of Gurbani throughout the world through Simran and Kirtan.

A lot of people in the world know Sant Ji as a renowned kirtaniya in Sikh jagat, but when we get closer to Sant Ji we discover new things about him,like his humidity, his simpleness and helpfulness. Sant ji truly lives by these lines of Gurbani "aap japo avra naam japavo", and one thing that is apparent and flashes repeatedly is Sant ji's total dedication and commitment to Sewa and Simran. In other words, we can sum up Sant ji in two words: Sewa and Simran. In this journey of Sewa and Simran mission, Sant ji has taken some great leaps and has made some great strides. One of these great steps taken resulted in making of helping, educational and spiritual center, which is an off shoo, of Sewa Panthi Sampardaye, and was rightfully named in the loving memory of the founder and initiator of red cross, a portrait of Sewa & Simaran , and a great personality in Sikh History- Bhai Kanhalya Ji. The Center is thus Known as Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Sewa Simran Kendar and Gurmat Sangeet Academy. It is Situated in Phagwara- Jalandhar G. T. Road On a 3 Acre Property and Was Formed in February 2003. Phagwara Center is The Outer Manifestation of Sant Ji's Inner Essence.

Gurmat Sangeet Academy

Approximately 50 Students are Enrolled in This Academy To Receive Education From a Professional Staff of Teachers and professors. Gurbani Santhiya, Katha, kirtan, Tabla and English Education is Imparted To These Students. Gurmat Sangeet's Cussiculum is Based on Punjab University Patiala's Syallabus, Medicines and Many More Needs are Being Met and are Being Provided To The Students Free of Charge For The Sangat in Phagwara Free Kirtan Classes are Being Offered As Well. In Addition From Time To Time Gurmat Sikhiya Camps and Naam Simran Camps are Being Held For The Academy Students and For The Sangat.

Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Sewa Simaran Kendra

In The Early Morning Hours On a Daily Basis Diwan begins with Naam Simaran Sabhna. During the diwan the entire staff, students, and sangat join to do simran, nitnem, Kirtan and Katha together, and in doing so they are connecting themselves with Guru's Charan. Similarly in the evening diwan, everyone at the Center comes together for Sodhar path, kirtan and katha. Every Sangrand besides holding special diwans, up coming Gurpurbhs are also celebrated. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's 300 Gurta Gadhi diwas is being commemorated by special diwans and by parchaar khetar into the nearby villages. Naam Simran Gurmat Parchaar Yatra includes Sant ji travelling to many different parts of India, namely Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Bombay and abroad to countries like Australia, Canada, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong to carry on the Sewa and Simran mission by holding Gurmat and Simran Samagams. Sukhmani Sahib JI's Kirtani Jaap is being held as a lari diwan every Sunday from 5:30 am to 8:00 am throughout the city of Phagwara.

Naam Simran Gurmat Parchaar Yatra

It Includes Sant ji traveling to many different parts of India, namely Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Bombay and abroad to countries like Australia, Canada, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong to carry on the Sewa and Simran mission by holding Gurmat and Simran Samagams.

Sukhmani Sahib JI's Kirtani Jaap is being held as a lari diwan every Sunday from 5:30am to 8:00am throughout the city of Phagwara. Nishkaam Gurmat Parchaar Lehar is going on in nearby villages with the of Kirtaneyees, Katha Vechecks and Dhadi jathas. The purpose of this mission is to educate the ignorant masses about the Guru and Guru's message. The is kept neat and clean a all times, and rooms needed for the comfort of sangat travelling through Phagwara Center are being installed with air-conditioning units. Keeping in balance with "balhiari kudrat vasaiya" one acre of the Phagwara Center land has been dedicated in making a beautiful garden and landscaping which has further beautified the centre. In keeping up with the growth of the Center, there has been addition of new staff as well. Students has been given two additional sets of new uniforms, specifically yellow and blue in color. The Center looks new and vibrant every day along with the wonderful progress being made by the students of the Academy. Guru's Langar is prepared three times a day at the Center to serve the entire community of the Centre and to the Sangat.

New Projects underway at Phagwara Center, March 2009

It has been 6 years since opening of the Center, and now the Center is moving to the next level of performance , and accountability. This has been made possible through Sant Ji's diligent hard work and through sangat's financial commitment and support. The result is seen in the new projects under construction in Phagwara.

English Medium Public School, with Gurmat being ane of the compulsary subjects, will be next under construction. The children will have access to computers and this world class education will be given free to some needy children.

Medical Clinic along with one doctor to be on premises 24 hour a day 7 days a week is in the upcoming plans. In addition there will be a minivan with logo of Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Medical Center, and equipped with technological features to provide blood tests, ECG, Ultrasound, and X-rays to everyone. This lab on wheels will also be going to nearby rural areas to provide medical help to the needy and the less fortunate.

Sant ji is thankful to Akal Purakh Waheguru ji for his countless blessings and kirpa on the existing Center on the projects underway at the Center, and at the same time extends his thanks to the sangat all over the world who have given their financial and mortal support in making of the Center, in sustaining it, and in promoting further.
